Sarah McGrath’s Moral Knowledge is a powerful and important book; no one who really cares about the prospects for realistic informative moral epistemology should avoid it (McGrath, 2019). In this critical notice, I won’t attempt anything like proper summary of book. Rather, will only indicate what take to be its major strengths weaknesses, try give sense where has directed my own thinking, as someone been tearing his hair out over while now. While not defending strong claim that knowledge ordinary empirical knowledge, central idea we gain lose each kind in same ways: can acquired any ways which acquire our efforts preserve such are subject frustration all are.
